This is a great opportunity to join a respected further education provider on a temporary basis, supporting the delivery of Carpentry and Joinery programmes to Level 1 and Level 2 learners.

This well regarded education provider delivers high training across a range of subject areas. With strong facilities, experienced teaching teams, and a focus on learner progression, the organisation provides a supportive environment for education professionals working on a contract basis.

This role would suit an experienced Carpentry and Joinery professional with teaching experience who is available to start immediately and support learners during a short term period of cover.

The Role:

* Delivering teaching and learning to Level 1 and Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery learners

* Providing practical instruction with a strong focus on bench joinery

* Planning, preparing and assessing lessons in line with curriculum requirements

* Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback

* Maintaining a safe and inclusive workshop environment

The Person :

* Qualified in Carpentry and Joinery

* Bench Joinery experience

* Holds a recognised teaching qualification

* Experience delivering within further education or a similar training setting

* Available to work 23 hours per week on a short term contract

* Able to start immediately, subject to pre employment checks
