Smile Education is working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Walsall to recruit a strong and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a Reception class.

This is a full-time, long-term role, starting after February half-term, ideal for a confident Early Years TA who thrives in a busy, play-based learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting pupils in a Reception / Early Years classroom
Working 1:1 and with small groups
Supporting phonics, early reading, writing, and number
Assisting with personal care routines where required
Supporting social, emotional, and behavioural development
Working closely with the class teacher and EYFS team Requirements:
Previous experience in Reception or Early Years (essential)
Confident supporting phonics and early learning
Calm, proactive, and nurturing approach
Strong behaviour management skills appropriate for EYFS
Able to commit to a long-term, full-time role
