St Michael’s is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic individual to fulfil both roles.
From 11:30am until 3.15pm you will work as a level three teaching assistant in school before moving to work in our after school provision from 3.15pm until 6.00pm.
This vacancy is from 23rd February 2026.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant 18.75 hours per weekOur teaching assistants are valued members of our staff team. You will be compassionate and skilled in working with children including those with complex special needs. You will lead small groups and when needed be a cover supervisor. A passion for helping children to learn to read and experience of teaching Read, Write Inc Phonic would be an advantage.
Senior Play Worker 13.75 hours per weekWe have a very popular after school club. Your role in the club is to ensure that our children are happy and have lots of opportunities to play. You will build positive relationships with our children and families. You will be the senior member of staff within the club and provide support to your colleagues as needed.
