Accountable to: Headteacher, Head of School, Assistant Head Teachers
Contract: Full time or part time (32.5 hours per week for full time). Term Time Only, Permanent contract. 08:30 – 15:30 working hours only (Part time consideration full days only).
Salary: Grade 5: SCP 12-17 (£21,701.85 – £23,541.33 per annum, prorata for part time). £14.82 – £16.08 per hour.

- Are willing or have already undertaken all relevant training for the role.
- Are reliable, flexible and good‑humoured.
Due to continued growth of the school, we wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant who has positivity, unconditional positive regard, and a passion for the teaching and learning of those with complex Special Educational Needs.
This role should appeal to you if you are confident in your ability to combine creative support of delivery in the classroom with a child‑focused and nurture‑based approach.
Old Hall School is a specialist setting in Walsall providing education to young people at EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, all of whom have a variety of SEND complexities. The post holder will be joining our vibrant team as we move forward and refine our excellence in nurturing, developing and shaping young lives.
You would be required to work at either of our school sites.
