Sen Teaching Assistant

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Birmingham is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long‑term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference to children with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities :

Providing 1 : 1 and small‑group support for pupils with SEN

Supporting children with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH or learning difficulties

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored support plans

Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment

Helping pupils develop emotionally, socially and academically

The Ideal Candidate :

Previousдерді experience working with SEN pupils (essential)

A calm, patient and nurturing approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual needs

Passionate about helping young learners thrive
