From £89 per day.

A welcoming primary school in Walsall is seeking a full‑time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from January. This role is centred around providing meaningful support to pupils with additional needs, helping them feel confident, supported, and engaged in their learning. Previous school‑based experience is not required; however, experience supporting children with special educational needs is essential, along with a genuine passion for working with children.

• Support pupils with SEN both in the classroom and during structured activities
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development
• Assist pupils with communication, focus, and independence
• Work closely with teaching staff to support learning objectives
• Help maintain a calm, inclusive, and supportive school environment

• Experience working with children with special educational needs (essential)
• Strong commitment to full‑time work
• A caring, patient, and adaptable attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
