Rental Yard Operations Assistant

Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc is a multi-location, full-service trailer dealership with an immediate opening at its Walpole, MA branch. We are looking for a Rental Yard Operations Assistant with experience preferred in the heavy-duty truck and/or trailer industry. In this position you will be responsible for assisting the Rental Manager with all activities related to rental operations and administration.

Responsibilities include:

• Process rental reservations.
• Road call management for rental units, including customer and vendor communications.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships including negotiation and procurement.
• Coordinate rental equipment deliveries/pickups and movement between branches.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships with existing and new customers.
• Interface with corporate accounting and administration, as well as other branch locations as needed.
• Maintain inventory and insurance audits.
• Provide clear communication with customers regarding unit damage and insurance issues.
• Comply with the Company's safety program.

Requirements:

• Experience in the heavy-duty truck/trailer/transportation industry is preferred.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must by detail oriented, and able to handle multi-tasking regularly.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Must have good computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office.
• Must pass a standard pre-employment drug test.
