Veterinary CVT​/surgery​/anesthesia

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician and Veterinary Assistants to join our team at our privately owned state of the art facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care, strong sense of teamwork, and willingness to learn and grow professionally. We have a stable management team and very little turnover.

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and other procedures
• Perform laboratory tests and analyze results
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
• Handle and restrain animals during procedures
• Maintain accurate medical records and monitor anesthesia
• Educate pet owners on proper care and treatment plans
• Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies

• Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology or some experience desired
• Proficiency in animal handling and restraint techniques
• Knowledge of veterinary practices and procedures but we are willing to train
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and laboratory procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
