Residential Landscape Designer - Custom Outdoor

We are seeking a talented Residential Landscape Designer to create and support custom outdoor living projects in Walpole, Massachusetts
. This role focuses on turning creative landscape ideas into practical, build‑ready designs that guide residential installations from initial concept through final construction. The Landscape Designer will produce design concepts, technical drawings, and construction documentation that support high‑end residential landscape projects. Working closely with project managers, field teams, and homeowners, the designer will ensure plans are both visually compelling and technically feasible for installation.

• Develop creative residential landscape concepts and layout plans for outdoor living spaces
• Prepare detailed construction drawings and permit‑ready documentation for landscape installations
• Coordinate with project managers and construction teams to ensure designs are practical and buildable
• Revise designs based on client feedback, site conditions, and project requirements
• Translate conceptual ideas into technical plans that guide field installation
• Maintain accuracy across drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Manage multiple residential landscape design projects simultaneously in the Walpole area

• Degree in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related field
• Experience creating residential landscape design plans and construction documentation
• Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Revit, or similar tools
• Strong visual design ability combined with technical drafting skills
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with clients and construction teams
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain organized project workflows

• Experience supporting custom home landscapes or outdoor living construction projects
• Knowledge of grading plans, planting design, drainage concepts, and hardscape detailing
• Willingness to conduct occasional site visits and coordinate with field teams in Walpole
• Strong attention to detail and project documentation accuracy
