Senior .NET Developer

We're looking for a Senior .Net Developer with strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude to join our client's team of professionals!

Since 1998, our client has been engineering its own software products and custom software for clients of all sizes. Headquartered in Walnut Creek, California, they currently has 2700+ employees in development centers across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

The customer is the leading European provider of e-tendering, procurement systems, and information between buyers and suppliers. The European government is a major user of their services.

The customer landed an enterprise level project within the space of Procure-2-Pay in August 2022. The project is for the Danish government and the scope is procurement, invoice workflow management, and contract management. They have had this customer using their platform since 2014, but the new tender also includes a lot of new changes, including minimum requirement to deliver a completely new invoice workflow solution handling the entire payment plan for the Danish government.

The project has approximately 350 functional requirements, 150 non-functional, and 50 process requirements to be delivered within the scope of the project.

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Experience in design, code and implementation of software within the Microsoft .NET
• Experience with Elastic Search
• Bachelor degree in computer science or a related field is a plus
• Good knowledge of C#, API, DB - MS SQL Server
• Ability to provide application support, which includes problem research, analysis, resolution, and on-call support
• Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally, and work well in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to be self-motivated, independent, and detail-oriented

• Produce code using .NET
• Write unit tests and code that adheres to coding standards
• Provide technical support
• Work both independently and in close collaboration with others in the team; effectively communicate with geographically distributed team members
• Communicate with the customer on a regular basis
• Make recommendations for the improvement of the platform and development process to increase productivity
• Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Implement security and data protection
• Identify, monitor and resolve project-related issues
