We’re looking for a dedicated Veterinary Assistant who wants more than “just a job” — we want someone excited to grow, learn, and join a collaborative team that truly supports you.
Salary: $20-$33/hr. based on experience and skill set.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 4x10 hour shifts

- Assist veterinarians and vet techs during examinations, treatments, and surgeries
- Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Prepare examination rooms and surgical areas by cleaning and sterilizing equipment and surfaces
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as collecting blood, urine, and stool samples
- Support dental and surgical procedures (training provided)
- Administer medications and vaccinations under the supervision of a veterinarian
Feed, bathe, and exercise animals as needed - Maintain accurate medical records
- Communicate with pet owners about their pets’ care, treatment plans, and follow-up visits
- Clean and maintain the clinic, including stocking supplies and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment
- Preferred: 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant or similar animal‑care role
- Strong handling skills and comfort working in a clinical environment
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy setting
- Willingness to learn new skills and participate in continuing education
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weight, and handle animals safely
