LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) - Per Diem Opportunity in Walnut Creek, CA

Tampico Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate LVN to join our team of skilled nursing professionals. As an LVN at our 128-bed skilled nursing rehabilitation center, you will work under the direct supervision of a registered nurse to implement the established plan of care for each assigned group of residents. • Provide total care for chronically ill and technologically dependent residents, including administration of medications and treatments
• Assist with the planning, coordination, and provision of individualized resident care in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Collaborate with all levels of nursing personnel, consultants, physicians, and department managers to ensure high-quality care
• Provide resident assessment-related education and documentation
• Maintain accurate and thorough records of resident care

• Current, valid Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure to practice in the State of California
• Current Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BCLS) certification
• LVN graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• At least six months prior LVN experience in a general acute care hospital setting or acquired equivalent competency
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information, and to be easily understood through verbal communication in the English language
