Essential Dutiesand Responsibilities :
- Draftandreviewlegalcorrespondenceincludingthoroughlyproofreadingforerrorsingrammar,spelling,punctuation,and formatting
- Prepareandcollectconflictofinterestchecks,opennewfilesandmaintainclientfiles
- Maintain attorneys’calendarswithhearingdates,filing deadlines,andotherdatesofimportance
- Makeclientandclient-relatedappointmentsforattorneysasnecessary
- Professionaldemeanorwithall Firm’sclients,attorneys,staffandvendors.
Includingrespondingtomessagesandrequestsinatimelymannerandperformingjobdutieswithenthusiasmandagenuineperceivablezesttobeofservice - Familiarwithstateand
USFederal Court Case Management /Electronic Case File (CM/ECF)/PACER system,includingsubmissionofelectronicfilings - Abilitytoorganizeandprioritizenumeroustasksandcompletethemundertimeconstraintswithminimalsupervision
- Proficientinsoftwareprogramssuchas Microsoft Word ,PowerPoint,and Excel,orothersimilarsoftwareprogramsnecessarytoperformessentialdutiesoftheposition
- Provideassistancetootherswithinfirmwhenrequestedbasedonprioritiesofcurrentwork-in-hand,promotingteamworkandmutualcooperationamongallstaffmembers
Qualification sand
Experience:
- Minimumtwoyearslitigationsecretarialexperience
- Experiencemaintainingpaperlessfiles.iManageexperienceaplus
- Knowledgeofservicedeadlinesforvariouslitigationtasks,includingfamiliarityofthe
California Codeof Civil Procedure - Mustsuccessfullypassabackgroundanddrugscreen
