Paralegal

Paralegal position at Venardi Zurada LLP in Oakland, CA. This is not a remote position. The firm handles plaintiff personal injury and employment law. Must have paralegal/legal assistant experience; this is not an entry level role.

• Knowledge of case management, calendaring, preparing pleadings, discovery, court filings, and client management.
• Perform the tasks of a paralegal as well as a legal secretary/assistant.
• Manage high-volume, time-sensitive workflows independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate strong people skills and professional interaction with clients and colleagues.

• Paralegal or legal assistant experience required (not entry level).
• Ability to handle case management, calendaring, pleadings, discovery, court filings, and client management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Relocation to Oakland, CA (ZIP 94612) before starting work.
