Document Scanner (Temp) at Amerit Fleet Solutions
Location:
Walnut Creek, CA. Temporary, full-time position.
Compensation:
Competitive Pay – $25.00 - $30.00 an hour, paid weekly every Friday.

- Prepare physical documents for scanning, including removing staples, sorting pages, and ensuring all necessary information is present.
- Operate high-speed scanning equipment and associated software to create digital copies of records.
- Review scanned images for clarity, accuracy, and completeness, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
- Accurately index and file digital documents into the designated electronic document management system.
- Organize and archive the original physical documents for long-term storage or secure shredding, following company procedures and legal requirements.
- Address minor equipment malfunctions and collaborate with the Project Manager on significant technical issues.
- Track and report on daily/weekly scanning progress to ensure the project remains on schedule and meets productivity standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience with scanning equipment and document management systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry and quality control.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of confidentiality protocols, especially when handling sensitive information.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move boxes of documents up to 50 lbs as needed.
