Overview

Insurance Verification Specialist at Bass Surgery Center: The Insurance Verification Clerk is responsible for validating and entering patient information and insurance coverage into the appropriate computer system. Duties may also include communicating with physician offices, insurance carriers, and patient follow-ups.

• Validate and enter patient information and insurance coverage into the appropriate computer system.
• Communicate with physician offices, insurance carriers, and patients to follow up as needed.

• High School education and/or equivalent
• Minimum two years previous experience hospital or ASC insurance verification required.
