Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Collections Admin Clerk to join our legal team. This role is instrumental in managing the financial health of our company by ensuring the accurate and timely collection of accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of invoice management, and a solid background in reconciling. This position requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Analyze client accounts, identify discrepancies, and resolve billing issues.
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate records of all collection activities.
  • Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress.
  • Work closely with the legal team to handle legal issues related to collections.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies and relevant regulations.
  • Develop strategies to improve the collections process and achieve collection targets.
  • Assist in the preparation of invoices and billing statements.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional relationship with clients.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
  • A minimum of 1+ years experience in collections, invoicing, or a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of billing and financial concepts.
  • Excellent knowledge of invoice management and reconciling.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with exceptional skills in Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, team player with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
