Job Description & How to Apply Below

What’s it like to work at Kinder’s? Well, there’s a lot of snacking and geeking out over what we all cooked over the weekend. Beyond that, there’s also plenty of hard work. Because we don’t just like flavor, we’re obsessed with it.

With over 100 products sold nationwide, we’re now a top-five brand in multiple flavor categories at Costco, Walmart, Whole Foods, and more. We’re not your typical CPG company. Privately held and founder‑led, we like to think of ourselves as a pirate ship in a sea of cruise ships. Our crew is adventurous and fearless. We chart our own course and chase big ideas to make food unforgettable.

As we expand globally and approach $1 billion in revenue, we need more smart‑and‑scrappy, flavor‑obsessed people to come aboard. If you’re looking for a place where you can see the real impact of your work...
this is it! Every day, you’ll be part of a journey to add flavor to millions of meals and lives.

How you will have an impact at Kinder’s:

The PIM/DAM Manager owns all Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, with Image Relay as the central source of truth. This role manages product imagery, metadata, naming conventions, seasonal catalogs, sample flow, and retailer‑specific content for 400+ SKUs. It also oversees photography workflows, cross‑team asset needs, and internal communication through Wrike. The role reports to the VP Creative Director and partners closely with Creative Operations.

Key Responsibilities

PIM & DAM Administration

  • Serve as administrator for Image Relay/Canto and all PIM/DAM platforms, managing structure, permissions, workflows, metadata, and governance.
  • Maintain organized, accurate libraries of product and lifestyle photography (6+ angles per SKU), temporary renders, copy, metadata, and final assets.
  • Differentiate and manage temporary renders vs. final approved photography.
  • Audit, update, and archive discontinued products and historical assets.
  • Maintain consistent file naming conventions, taxonomy, and metadata standards.

Photography and Sample Workflow

  • Coordinate all product pick‑ups and drop‑offs with Photographer of Record Ben Kist in Emeryville, CA.
  • Manage the product sample program:
Receiving, logging, distributing, and tracking first production samples across Creative, Sales, PD/QA, and Digital.
  • Align sample availability with photography schedules, product resets, innovation launches, and seasonal timelines.
  • Use Wrike to manage workflow, timelines, and internal communication across teams.

Product Information Management

  • Own the posting of all product copy, metadata, attributes, specs, compliance data, and dimensions for 400+ SKUs.
  • Support content needs for resets, innovation launches, packaging refreshes, and seasonal retailer‑specific catalogs.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of product information across internal teams and global retail partners.

Retailer Syndication and Distribution

  • Manage product data and imagery across retailer‑specific platforms:
    Syndigo, 1

World Sync, IX‑ONE, EQ Harvest, Image Relay/Canto.
  • Upload, map, validate, and maintain seasonal content, item setups, and assortment updates.
  • Partner with Sales on retailer‑specific PDP and seasonal product needs.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Report to the VP Creative Director, daily interactions with Creative Operations.
  • When Creative Ops support is needed, manage asset requests in large product groups rather than one‑off individual requests to streamline workflow.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, PD/QA, Sales, and Digital to align on photography needs, content accuracy, and asset readiness.
  • Communicate changes related to launches, resets, discontinued items, and seasonal updates.

Process & Optimization

  • Develop and maintain SOPs for naming conventions, metadata, version control, photography intake, sample management, and Wrike workflow usage.
  • Improve scalability in asset lifecycle management, system organization, and content delivery.
  • Track and report asset completeness, accuracy, and workflow efficiency.
