Commercialization Associate Mission
The Commercialization Associate is a key support role responsible for coordinating and managing the execution of both private label and branded product launches, packaging transitions, and commercialization processes. Serving as primary liaison for key internal and external partners, the associate manages timelines, validates technical data, identifies issues that may impact launch readiness, and communicates directly with external customer teams to resolve problems and drive forward progress.
The role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable navigating ambiguity to find solutions and move projects forward.
- Coordinate packaging and label execution for new and existing branded and private label products
- Serve as the primary contact for customer and vendor packaging and design teams
- Review and translate customer requirements to ensure accurate internal execution
- Track timelines, validate technical data, and flag risks that may impact launch readiness
- Support new item setup by completing forms and coordinating samples, images, and product data
- Gather and organize documentation for customer bids, RFPs, and internal approvals
- Verify product and packaging information across multiple systems for accuracy and consistency
- Maintain project trackers, meeting notes, and shared documentation
- Schedule and support commercialization checkpoints and label review meetings
- Build knowledge of products, commercialization workflows, and customer requirements
- Apply an analytical mindset to improve execution accuracy and efficiency
- Engage in ongoing learning and development to grow within the organization
- High School Diploma, required. Bachelor’s degree, highly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant CPG experience in project coordination or marketing/sales support. A bachelor’s degree and 2 years of CPG sales or marketing experience involving customer project-related work may be substituted for the required experience.
- Exposure to new product launches, item setup, or packaging management is a plus.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Professional maturity and confidence in external-facing communications
- Strong communication both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and make informed decisions when priorities or inputs conflict
- Comfortable working with and reviewing technical data across systems, and determining when escalation is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office systems
- Experience working with marketing, brand management, retailer customers, brokers, and distributors
- 10% travel, required
