Hours: 42 hours per week (overtime paid after 38 hours)
Pay Rate: 14.50 per hour

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Stores Person to join our clients warehouse operation in Wallsend. This is a day shift role offering stable hours and a competitive hourly rate. The successful candidate will have experience working in large warehouse environments and be comfortable using modern IT systems to support warehousing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of warehouse, stores duties and stock control

• Use warehouse management systems (WMS), handheld scanners, and IT systems to maintain accurate stock records

• Support warehouse improvement and efficiency projects

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment

• Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational targets

Candidate Requirements

• Proven warehousing experience, preferably within large warehouse environments

• Experience working in multiple warehouse roles

• Knowledge of modern warehouse IT systems (WMS, scanners, computer-based stock systems)

• Previous involvement in warehouse projects or continuous improvement initiatives

• Good IT skills or a strong enthusiasm and willingness to learn new warehousing technologies

• Reliable, flexible, and able to work effectively within a team
