Inventory Control Clerk- 3rd shift

Job Summary

The Inventory Control role will be responsible for supporting and optimizing the inventory of steel products across our warehouse or distribution facility. This hands‑on position requires a deep understanding of steel product types, handling procedures, and inventory management best practices. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess strong attention to detail, and have experience handling inventory in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

Medium work – exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

• Checking loads for accuracy
• Performing load spot checks
• Checking loaded trailers to assure they are safe and chainable
• Pre‑receiving of mill trucks and railcars as needed
• Do PO reservations and pull work orders
• Research depleted tags
• Fill out inventory adjustment request forms as needed
• Investigate missing / can't find material
• Inspect RMAs
• Communicate with traffic, QA and warehouse daily
• Special projects assigned by management as necessary

• 1-3 years warehouse experience
• Eniteo program knowledge necessary
• Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook preferred
