Westaff is Hiring for Experienced Stand Up Forklift Operators & Order Selectors in Wallingford, CT!
Shift: Sundays 1pm – finish, Monday – Thursday 5pm – finish. Fridays and Saturdays off!
Pay Rate: $18 an hour, opportunities to advance
Environment: must be OK working in a cold environment
Forklift Operator & Order Selector Responsibilities:Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and stand-up lifts
Select and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
Operate ride-on pallet jacks and/or order pickers
Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse
Assist with inventory control and product organization
Follow all safety protocols in a cold-temperature environment
Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
Experience:
Prior warehouse or material handling experience
Order selecting and order processing experience
Experience operating ride-on pallet jacks or order pickers
Previous forklift certification preferred
Ability to operate Reach Trucks and stand-up forklifts
