Quality Manager

Overview

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for precision and a deep understanding of aerospace quality standards? We are a premier manufacturer of high‑quality insulated wire and cable products, serving critical sectors including commercial, military, and aerospace industries.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to serve as a key member of our leadership team. You will be responsible for the strategic direction of our Quality department and the hands‑on management of our Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring every product that leaves our Wallingford facility meets the highest standards of safety and performance.

Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 per year

Work hours:

7 AM – 4 PM

Education required:

Bachelors

• Department Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coach a dedicated quality team to achieve operational excellence.
• QMS Management: Oversee all aspects of the QMS, ensuring strict compliance with ISO and AS9100 standards.
• Compliance & Documentation: Manage calibration programs,
  PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), and PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
• Continuous Improvement: Lead cross‑functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions through structured problem‑solving.
• Audit Readiness: Act as the primary point of contact for external audits and customer quality inquiries.
