Job Summary
Load/unload or otherwise move inventory through the use of overhead crane or other material handling equipment as specified according to work orders and by directive of supervisor.
Physical RequirementsStand or sit (stationary position), walk (move, traverse), use hand/fingers to handle or feel (operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, detect, position), climb (stairs/ladders) or balance (ascend/descend, work atop, traverse), stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl (position self, move), talk/hear (communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself, exchange information), see (detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, assess), pushing or pulling, reaching, repetitive.
Medium/Heavy work: exerting up to 50 lbs occasionally and/or frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs constantly to move objects.
- Log and report inventory location changes according to specified procedure
- Assemble customer orders according to work orders
- Log and tag inventory received according to specified procedure
- Record pertinent material information onto work orders or other forms as specified by management
- Special projects as specified by management
- Perform other warehouse or processing/maintenance department tasks as required by the absence of a department member or due to the existence of a backlog of work

Required Skills- Minimum 1-2 years industrial materials handling
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to read and write
