Maintenance Mechanic- 3rd Shift

Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic supports manufacturing by diagnosing and resolving
machinery and equipment issues. The Maintenance Mechanic also performs regular
preventative maintenance on equipment and tools used in the manufacturing
process to ensure the successful execution of production activities, as well as
provides facilities support throughout the plant..

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves machinery and equipment problems and
malfunctions.

Performs mechanical and electrical repairs on machinery and tools to
maintain production.

Performs preventative maintenance on machinery and tools to prevent
breakdowns and malfunctions.

Provides plumbing, welding, carpentry, painting, and other maintenance
assistance as required.

Helps install new equipment.

Perform other tasks as required by Manager.

Job Requirements

HS diploma, GED or applicable experience

Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing maintenance role

Strong mechanical aptitude

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Knowledge of safety standards

Willingness to work flexible hours

Good written and verbal communication skills
