Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 6:00am - 2:30pm MON TUE WED THU FRI 2:30pm - 11:00pm
OVERVIEWWorking as Full-time Manufacturing Lead Machinist, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the shop floor including to support the continued growth of the Manufacturing division. This position will work with the operations manager, inside sales team and other lead machinists to schedule machine workloads.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Providing support to the shop
- Ensuring quality and on-time delivery of our product
- Maintaining accuracy while performing multiple tasks
- Providing leadership and guidance for machine operators
- Maintaining timecards within our Kronos system
- Maintaining a safe working environment
- Communicating effectively from shift to shift
- Possess at least 2 years of Manufacturing work experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Excellent safety and attendance records
- Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
- Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
- Work independently as well as in a team environment
- Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
- Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
- Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
- Possess an education related to tool and die or machining
