PositionPro Health Physicians has an immediate opening for a friendly, patient-focused and detail-oriented Associate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. The position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday.
The Associate Patient Care Coordinator will support the care team and its patients by greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments, answering telephone inquiries, collecting payments and maintaining demographic information. You will routinely use the EHR according to Pro Health policies and standard workflows.
May be asked to float to local practices in the region for coverage depending on business need.
Schedule: FT, 40 hours, Monday - Friday. Must be able to work an 8-hour shift between 7:30am and 6:30pm. Will be required to close 3 days per week and will be required to work rotating Saturdays, 8am - 1:30pm.

Primary Responsibilities- Conduct check-in and check-out process
- Answer incoming calls and use the EHR to document details of patient inquiries
- Conduct outreach to patients requiring appointments or service follow-up
- Schedule appointments using standard scheduling protocols
- Manage administrative in-basket pools and work queues
- Scan documents into the EHR per standard protocols
- Balance payments and prepare deposits
- Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal and financial information
- Provide coverage at other Pro Health locations on an ad hoc basis
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.

- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 1+ year of receptionist or customer service experience
- Beginner level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license
- Experience working in a primary care setting
- Experience working with EPIC
