Job DescriptionMonday to Friday 6-2 and 2-10 alternating
Are you ready to join a team dedicated to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety? We're seeking 1 x DAY shift Hygiene Operative to join our Wallingford site, home of Rowse Honey! If you're passionate about hygiene, safety, and making a difference in the food industry, this role is for you!
At Rowse Honey, we're committed to crafting delicious snacks while upholding rigorous hygiene and safety standards. As part of the Valeo Foods UK Group, we prioritise quality and excellence in everything we do.
Our Hygiene Operatives are responsible for ensuring:
- Production lines are clean to the CIC cleaning cards.
- Production cleaning schedules are adhered to and signed off on the day the clean took place.
- All hygiene tasks are correctly processed using procedures and/or work instructions, to include machine settings, process documentation and allergen and cross contamination risks and the HACCP plan is followed and controlled.
- Ad hoc tasks to be carried out in line with defined time scales.
- All key areas of the factory to be always clean and clear.
Qualifications and knowledge
- Food safety level 2.
- Chemical handling training.
- COSHH (control of Substances Hazardous to Health) trained (Desirable)
Qualities and Experience
- Self - motivated with an ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, attention to detail and a desire to keep high standards.
- A logical and methodical approach.
- To lead by example with a positive can-do attitude and look for solutions not problems.
