We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our quick-service fast food restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of food safety protocols, and a passion for culinary excellence. This role requires effective management of staff, budgeting, and ensuring the highest standards of food handling and customer service.
There is a training period of 6 months to 1 year to work your way up to General Manager depending on experience. Pay may start at $17 an hour and may go up during the training period.
Duties- Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, quality control, and inventory management.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance; conduct interviews for new hires.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure financial health of the restaurant.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale among staff.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the restaurant.
- Proven experience in a management role within a quick-service fast food restaurant or similar environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
- Excellent budgeting skills with experience in financial management.
- Culinary background is preferred but not required; passion for food is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff and customers alike.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
