Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in a mixed adult/pediatric Level III Trauma Center with Epic EMR experience and a valid WA or compact RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a short-term acute care Level III Trauma Center

• Mixed adult and pediatric patient population

• Patient ratio is 1:5

• Uses Epic EMR system

• Day shifts (12:00–00:00) and night shifts (19:00–07:00) available

• Rotating weekend shifts required

• No floating between units within the facility required

• All travelers may be required to float to other facilities within the state as needed

• No on-call requirements

• Any color scrubs are acceptable for all units

• Returning permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility

• Minimal or no RTO is preferred and requests must be made at the time of application

• First time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license

• Minimum of 2 years recent ER RN experience

• Current BLS and other required certifications

• Experience with Epic EMR required

• Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
