Works with Manufacturing Engineers to plan, direct and coordinate manufacturing processes in a manufacturing plant by performing the duties below. Must be functionally familiar with ERP systems and able to read and interpret engineering drawings and other technical documentation.
Essential Responsibilities:- Updates existing SOEs (Sequence of Events) through working with a Manufacturing Engineer and the shop.
- Updates existing Work Instructions and Quality Checklists through working with a Manufacturing Engineer and the shop.
- Participates in Time studies and VSM (Value Stream Maps) including follow up activities as needed to document and drive improvement.
- Conduct ECO Drawing reviews to ensure the change is manufacturable and cost effective.
- ECO approval for shop ECOs ensuring the implementation covers the impact of inventory and work in progress as well as where used items, tooling, CAM Programming etc.
- Address the route review requests through interacting with the shop and/or a Manufacturing Engineer.
- On weekly basis, runs the Overall Statistical Router Review Report and addresses the largest variance items through processing route changes.
- Participates in design reviews.
- Other Duties as assigned.

- High school Diploma or GED; 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Capable of using Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must be able to communicate with others at all levels.
