The Rehabilitation Aide supports physical, occupational, and speech therapy staff by maintaining treatment areas, managing supplies, and assisting with clerical tasks such as scheduling and reminder calls. This role operates under clinical supervision to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient therapy environment that aids patient care. Candidates require formal aide training within 90 days of hire and basic life support certification, with preferred experience in medical terminology and customer service.
Description
The Rehabilitation Aide functions under the general supervision of the rehabilitation clerical supervisor and under the clinical direction of the Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist that they are supporting. The Rehabilitation Aide is responsible for general clinic up-keep including, but not limited to: preparing treatment areas; cleaning treatment areas; procurement and inventory of supplies; cleaning, monitoring, and recording quality checks for therapy equipment.
The Aide may also be assigned routine clerical supports tasks to support the patient care process including reminder calls, scheduling and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training and Successful completion of Aide training per department standards and program within 90 days of date of hire into position.
- Upon hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with medical terminology and customer service.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
