The Scheduling Coordinator's primary and secondary functions include: scheduling for patients, physicians and ancillary departments; departmental communications; greet patients; answer telephones, relaying messages and transferring calls to appropriate staff; collect statistics; maintain and organize departmental files, research and gather new patient records; collect and maintain accurate demographic and insurance billing information on patients resulting in timely reimbursement, daily schedule preparation, prepare and process Release of Information requests.
Type and perform any other designated clerical tasks essential for the smooth operation of the department.

Preferred Qualifications- Secretarial experience in a medical setting.
