Description
Under general supervision of the Supervisor & Manager, Diagnostic Imaging and according to established policies and procedures, performs echocardiograms to produce diagnostic data assessing heart function and capability to be used by the cardiologist to enhance the care and treatment of the patient. In doing so, obtains pertinent patient information and explains the purpose and duration of testing to the patients.
Reviews image data as well as calculation measurements for interpreting provider. Provides other diagnostic testing defined by scope of practice.

Shift Details:
Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Day shift.
Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training:
Successful completion of an accredited academic program in Echocardiography or equivalent educ/experience - Upon hire:
National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or - Upon hire:
National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International - Upon hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association - 2 years Ultrasound/Cardiovascular experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year echocardiography experience.
