Job Description

Join our dynamic healthcare team in a hospital setting as a Hospitalist in Walla Walla, WA. You will work in an open ICU, managing a range of adult patient needs, including non-invasive ventilation and ongoing vent management. The role offers the opportunity for board-certified providers to engage in meaningful patient encounters. Enjoy a consistent schedule with shifts from Tuesday to Tuesday (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) for 1-2 weeks per month, beginning in mid-March or early April.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care for adult patients with critical conditions in an open ICU setting.
  • Perform necessary procedures including EKG interpretation and manage non-invasive ventilation.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
  • Ability to provide documentation of 15 vent management cases in the past 24 months.
  • Certifications:

    ACLS required.
  • Experience in adult inpatient procedures including ICU required.
Working Hours
  • Tuesday-Tuesday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • 1-2 weeks per month on a rotating basis.
Skills
  • Strong ability to manage ventilation and perform necessary inpatient procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills for an interdisciplinary environment.
  • Proficient in EKG interpretation and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
