Company Description

The historic Gesa Power House Theatre, located in downtown Walla Walla, is a premier performing arts venue with a capacity of 300 seats. Originally a gas plant in the early 20th century, it was transformed into a state‑of‑the‑art playhouse in 2011, inspired by Shakespeare’s Blackfriars Theatre in London. Recognized as both a Washington State Historic Building and a site on the National Register of Historic Places, it is home to Shakespeare Walla Walla, a nonprofit promoting theater and cultural events.

The theatre also hosts concerts, private events, and other performances, enriching the local community as a dynamic arts hub.

Role Description

Gesa Power House Theatre seeks a Guest Services Coordinator to help our nonprofit fulfill our mission to generate a strong, inclusive community through performing arts.

Power House Theatre Walla Walla is a presenting theater housed within a historic building in Walla Walla. Our goal is to positively impact our community through the performing arts. We are seeking a full‑time Guest Services Coordinator to manage all aspects of the volunteer program, support all front‑of‑house operations during events, and assist in the logistics and support for all rentals.

  • The ability to remain calm and alert in pressured situations.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

  • Ability to work well and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Problem solver and creative thinker.
