Controller - Walker Area

Salary Range: $128,000 - $179,000 depending on experience

• Oversee all financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage the annual budgeting process and develop financial forecasts for the manufacturing operations.
• Lead cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation and implement robust inventory control procedures.
• Establish and maintain a system of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support operational decision-making and drive profitability.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional development.

• 5+ years of progressive experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller within a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in cost accounting principles, inventory valuation, and standard costing methodologies specific to manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) commonly used in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze manufacturing performance, identify cost savings, and drive process improvements.

• Deep experience with ERP system implementation or optimization in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for advanced financial analysis and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience in lean manufacturing principles or operational finance improvement initiatives.
• Experience with mergers & acquisitions (M&A) due diligence and integration activities.
