• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• When guests need assistance, engage with them in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs.
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Thank guests and let them know you’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Know and discuss the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy.
• Understand and show guests how to use Target App features, including Wallet.
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering, and direct guests to enroll, activate and use these features.
• Handle returns per policy and consult with Leaders as needed to resolve guest issues.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage shopping baskets, hangers, and unpurchased items as needed.
• Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work in a safe manner and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-up orders, and returns, complying with applicable laws and policies.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks within established time frames.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office operations as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
• Capable of working in varying temperatures and environments while performing duties (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
