Position Summary:

Our fresh food associates help ensure the quality, packaging, and display of meat items for our members. You will be on the front lines of customer service in the meat department, contributing to a positive shopping experience through attention to detail and a steady hand.

• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and supports needs of the business including working in other areas when required.
• Be an Expert:
  Demonstrates knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares meat products (cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) according to standards; cuts boneless meat; maintains product quality.
• Be a Techie:
  Uses digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; uses handheld technology for production decisions, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner:
  Maintains a clean, organized work area; ensures quality and date control for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures packaging, labeling, and storage follow policies.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member's experience and modeling high-quality service; demonstrates energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics by applying relevant action plans and policies in daily work.
• Completes tasks by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; prioritizes, communicates progress, and adapts to change and feedback.
