• Provide guests with food and drinks efficiently and in accordance with proper procedure and bar regulations.
• Understand menu, food offerings and contents; carry out tasks to the highest standards.
• Manage an efficiently operated bar shift in accordance with agreed standards and regulations.
• Use every opportunity to gain knowledge in all areas of bar supervision.
• Ensure all tables receive their drinks and food as requested.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment, bar, and stores to Health, Safety and Hygiene standards at all times.
• Show awareness of all drink and food menus; explain and recommend food and drink contents.
• Ensure mise en place before/after service is completed to correct standard.
• Comply with Company Health & Safety, Fire Regulations and procedures.
• Adhere to the Company disciplinary policy when necessary.
• Maximize revenue and increase average spend per person through upselling, high customer service standards, effective training and motivational techniques.
• Demonstrate perfect knowledge of all beverages served, how beverages are prepared and presented, and how bar personnel are trained.
• Meet or exceed the monthly drink profit margin target.
