Location(s): Charles County Elementary Schools and Early Learning Centers
Pay: $15.00
Group Leader Certification: Required for those who do not have the 90 hours for a Group Leader per licensing.
Hours: Monday through Friday at Thornton Elementary
6am‑9am & 3pm‑6pm

We're Looking For Someone Who
- Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment
- Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
- Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed
In This Role, You Will
- Assist with daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts) while encouraging positive peer interactions
- Make child safety the top priority at all times
- Keep the space clean and organized
- Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
- Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- 3‑6 months experience in a childcare educational setting
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
