Job DescriptionAs a Transport Administrator you will be working alongside the transport team responsible for providing on-site operational and administrative support. Responsibilities start with checking‑in and checking‑out registration of drivers, dispatching drivers and completing key documentation.
Salary£24,445 per annum
Working hours4 on 4 off days
Responsibilities- Efficiently and accurately dispatch drivers with all relevant paperwork.
- Complete customer and Stobart KPIs where required.
- Ensure the correct trailer numbers are inputted into the internal tracking system.
- Monitor the service board to make sure the correct week number is on the correct trailer for depot trailers.
- Liaise with drivers on the gate communication system to make them aware of site procedures before entering site, when required.
- Complete all daily tasks for compliance purposes.
- Ensure manning levels are updated & correct.
- Internal reporting duties.
- Download vehicle & driver digital tachographs as per requirement.
- Transport System management.
- Previous experience within an administration role.
- Knowledge within a Transport and Logistics environment would be desirable but not essential.
- Able to work under pressure within a busy environment.
- Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS packages – Word and Excel etc.
