Business Development Manager (On-the-Road)

Location:

Field-Based – Leeds

We are seeking a commercially minded Business Development Manager to join a growing national sales team. This is a field-based role focused on developing new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and driving revenue growth across your assigned territory.

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will play a key role in expanding market presence and delivering measurable commercial success.

The role Drive New Business Development
  • Identify, target, and secure new clients within the construction sector
  • Build a strong pipeline of opportunities across your territory
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach
Develop Client Relationships
  • Build long-term partnerships with contractors, developers, and decision-makers
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored commercial solutions
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and pipeline updates
Market & Territory Management
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
  • Represent the business professionally in the field
