Community Champion Co-ordinator

The Community Champion Co-Ordinator will be responsible for establishing and supporting a network of Community Champions across Lupset. This role will include coordinating outreach activities, making use of the mobile community centre (minibus) to connect with residents and promote community health and wellbeing, alongside staff at St George’s. The postholder will also collaborate with partners and facilitate the Lupset Partnership Group, ensuring effective communication and shared learning.

The Coordinator will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the impact of the Community Champions network and Lupset Partnerships Group.

This post has been created in collaboration with community partners working in Lupset and is part of Wakefield Council’s Building Healthy and Sustainable Communities project. The post is initially funded for 3 years.

INTERVIEWS

If you are shortlisted you will be invited to a working interview and a formal interview.

Working Interview - At the working interview you will be set a task related to the job role and will be assessed by a small group of stakeholders.

Formal Interview - This is a traditional interview where you will be asked a number of questions by a small panel. You will then have the opportunity to ask questions of the panel.
