Production Supervisor

Position: Production Supervisor (Permanent)
Pennine Recruitment (acting as an employment business) are delighted to be recruiting a production supervisor for our client in Featherstone on a full time, permanent basis.

We currently have a vacancy on a rotational basis:

Hours of work (rotating weekly):

06::45 Monday - Thursday

15::30 Monday - Thursday

Or a weekend shift

(Apply online only) Friday - Sunday (34.5 Hours paid with 30 min per day unpaid break)

Rate of pay would be between £35,000 - £37,000 per annum (range dependent on skill level attained and performance).

Duties
Core duties are to assist in the supervision of shifts which would involve the manufacturing of wooden panels and of wooden doors. This is a physical role which will include heavy lifting so a high level of physical fitness is required.

* Planning and organisation of all production requirements.

* Control of all production reports and reporting to senior management.

* Agree weekly and monthly staffing requirements through capacity planning.

* Control absence, holidays, sickness and training.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a similar role is required.

* Experience in woodworking manufacturing.

* Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

* First aid trained.

* Fire marshal/warden trained.

* FLT Counterbalance License.
