Junior CAD Designer

Headley have a live vacancy with a bespoke manufacturing company in the Wakefield area who are seeking a junior CAD Designer.

This is a new position as the company and department continue to grow and offers a great opportunity to develop a career in design in what is an exciting and interesting industry sector. The company have an excellent track record of recruiting junior staff and developing their careers through the business.

• Production of shopfloor ready, technical drawings and supporting information using Solidworks
• Close liaison with other internal departments to ensure projects are completed accurately, on time and to budget

• Solidworks knowledge and experience
• Early career experience in a design job role
• Understanding of different materials, including acrylics, joinery, metalwork/fabrication, glass
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
• Close attention to detail
• Good attitude to work, keen to learn and ambitious to develop
• Ideally a degree, HND or similar in a design discipline
