Drainage and Jetting Technician – Calderdale and Yorkshire and Humber region
Pay RangeBase pay starting salary of £28,457. Additional pay will be based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities- Carry out all types of drainage and jetting repairs to both tenanted and vacant properties in accordance with job tickets, opti‑time appointment slots, specifications and contract drawings.
- Diagnose and problem‑solve repairs efficiently to minimise materials and time, while adhering to a "Right First Time" ethos.
- Keep records as required in paper or electronic form.
- Measure and quantify work and procure necessary materials.
- Provide excellent customer care, protecting tenants’ furniture and belongings, and liaising with customers in a polite, friendly and helpful manner.
- Carry out appropriate risk assessments prior to commencing work and ensure all reasonable steps are taken to protect health, safety and welfare of yourself, tenants, colleagues and the public.
- Full manual UK driver’s licence.
- Prior experience in general maintenance or caretaker roles.
- Experience in domestic & commercial drainage jetting.
- Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace.
- Knowledge of operating and maintaining a range of hand‑held tools for construction work.
- Ability to handle clients and/or the wider community in a professional manner as part of project work.
- Starting salary of £28,457.
- Field‑based role.
- 27 days annual leave (rising to 32 over 5 years) + bank holidays.
- 37 hours per week, scheduled flexibly between 08:00 and 19:30 across any five days from Monday to Saturday.
