We’re looking for a dedicated Support Assistant to join our Peripatetic Service AT Sherwood Court, Wakefield. This vital service operates 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, delivering high-quality care to people in their own homes.
About the RoleThe post is for 24.50 hours per week
You’ll work on a 4-week rolling Rota, including:
- Morning shifts: 07:00 - 15:00
- Evening shifts: 15:00 - 23:00
- Weekends and bank holidays (enhanced pay rates apply)
- Supporting individuals to remain in their own homes
- Promoting independence and person-centred care i.e. Washing/dressing/Bathing/Toileting/Meals & Medication
- Working collaboratively with professionals and agencies
- Treating every person with dignity and respect
To apply , you’ll need:
- GCSE Grades D–G in Maths and English or
- Functional Skills Level 1 in Maths and English
- Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Don’t have the Level 2 qualification, No problem! We’ll provide full training and fund your qualification after successful completion of your probation period.
