Position: Health Care Assistant

Care home: Bennett Court

Location: South Elmsall, Pontefract, WF9 2TF

Contract type: Full‑time, 42 hours per week, 12‑hour shifts 8.00am‑8.00pm, including weekends

Rate: £13.31 per hour upon completion of the Care Certificate

About the role

Our Health Care Assistants support people to live their best lives, whatever that looks like to them. Each day will vary, but your core responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting people with personal care
  • Assisting people at meal times
  • Understanding individual health and wellbeing needs
  • Encouraging and supporting people to take part in social activities, both in and out of the home
  • Promoting choice, dignity, independence and respect
  • Completing and maintaining care records
  • Liaising with friends, relatives and other stakeholders and promoting the profile of the home
About you

You should also:
