Management Accountant

Position: Management Accountant (Permanent)
Our client is a £100m+ manufacturing and distribution business operating across the UK. Profitable, ambitious, and planning to double turnover, they're embarking on a major ERP transformation to modernise their finance function.
This is a genuine number two role with a path to Finance Director, and this position has been created as part of structured succession planning.

Based in Bradford (office-based), you'll report directly to the FD and take ownership of management accounting and financial control for two group subsidiaries. You'll lead the finance workstream of a SAP Business One implementation, replacing legacy systems and building reporting infrastructure for the next phase of growth.

Key responsibilities:

Monthly management accounts with analysis and commentary
Full balance sheet ownership and reconciliations
Financial oversight of two subsidiaries
VAT returns and tax compliance support
Year-end audit leadership
AP oversight and costing methodology
Lead finance implementation of new ERP system
Design improved reporting and business intelligence from the ground up

What we're looking for:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)—ideally 0-5 years PQE
Manufacturing or multi-entity background
Strong Excel and ERP experience (SAP beneficial)
Ambition to progress to FD level

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
